A Uniquely fitted out wide beam barge and on a residential London mooring in zone 2.
This is a spacious wide-beam barge (steel fabricated in the uk in 2006) with an open plan interior layout.
The main access to the boat is through the back door that leads into the kitchen, the boat is also driven from this space, and there are windows on all walls.
Under the back deck is the access hatch to the 50hp Barrus Shire marine diesel engine with split diesel tanks.
The kitchen comprises of a welded steel frame with handcrafted hardwood panels inset with a miele oven and hob, smeg dishwasher and walnut countertop with a Butler sink and breakfast bar.
The bathroom is defined with full height curved mahogany panelling and a sliding door. Within the bathroom there is a 12v Techma toilet and bespoke fully welded water tight aluminium shower pod connected to a 12v whale gulper drain pump.
Beneath the floor of the kitchen is a stainless steel food grade water tank, a black water tank, a 1kw 55 litre sure-cal calorifier, expansion tanks a double stack jabsco water pump system, a Zanussi washing machine and easy access storage.
In the main living space the tongue and groove pine ceiling has 3 Houdini roof hatches frammed with powder coated aluminium flashings.
The walls are lined with natural finish plywood and have 4 large top section opening windows along each side that have retro fit double glazing system for the winter, to reduce heat loss.
On the starboard side in the middle of the main space there is a Morso Squirrel wood burning stove with steel base plate.
The bow has a fully welded 4 poster bed with built in wardrobe at the head and opening cabin doors to the small front deck and 2 bow lockers,these contain the gas cylinders and additional storage. |

40ft widebeam (9ft beam) canal barge, the hull has not long passed a survey (april 2009) and will again. it was built in 1995 by boatbuilder A & B Wroe, it has a gardner 4lw engine and box in it both are in excellent condition! following is a list.
Paloma water heater
Water tank (under the front, unknown capacity but its BIG! )

Solar array (2 panels)
its had new batteries for the 12v
engine runs on a 24v system.
it has a 600w inverter with a stirling charger/power unit 40A.

| A REAL MUST SEE !!!!!!!!!!!.
This narrowboat is situated on the Montomery canal in Shropshire. Easy access to the Shropshire Union and Llangollen canal.
TILLYMINT is a cruiser stern, steel construction built by Liverpool Boats in 1994. The hull was blacked, and new anodes fitted in July 08. The BSC runs to 2011.
A Kubota Nanni 45 hp Diesel engine is fitted. This engine has just had a full service and runs very well.
There are three leisure batteries and one starter battery.
NOTE. The three leisure batteris will be replaced prior to any sale.
A BRAND NEW GEAR BOX HAS JUST BEEN FITTED> NOT YET RUN IN.
The rudder stern gear was overhauled in July 08. 12 volt and 240 volt wired through boat.
A Powermaster battery charger is fitted as is a 500watt inverter.
An" EBERSPACHER" central heating system is fitted with three radiators.
NOTE. It will be arranged to have this sytem professionally serviced prior to any sale.
The interior of the boat is lined with T&G to the roof and upper half of sides. The lower half is carpeted with an attractive blue pattern carpet. The floor is in light oak laminate.
In the lounge there is a solid fuel stove with attractive tile surround. Two black leather swivel chairs and matching foot stool. A free standing pine dresser and two built in corner base units. All funiture remains with TILLYMINT.
In the bathroom there is a full sized very efficient shower. A cassett toilet and a stainless steel corner hand basin.
The kitchen is fitted with recently fitted base units. Incorporating a LEC shoreline refrigerator, a stone effect sink and drainer unit. A MORCO gas powered water heater which serves the bathroom and the kitchen.
The bed area includes a double bed with mattress with storage space below. A build in wardrobe at the foot of the bed.
On the cruiser stern ther is plenty of seating. There are two 13kg Propane gas cylinders in a housing with cover.
At the front of the boat there is a large capacity water tank. The tank has just been cleaned and re--coated so will not require attention for some time to come.
TILLYMINT is in clean sound condition. Has been very well cared for. She handle very well, is resposive to the rudder and STOPS very well when required. She comes with all ropes, fenders, mooring pins, and many assorted other items.
New professionaly custom made curtains have JUST been fitted at a cost of £500.00.
Her reluctant sale is forced by a recent , and unexpected medical diagnosis which requires some life changing. decisions to be made.
