This vessel started its life as a Thames Lighter Barge and was then fitted out as a 4 bed Houseboat.
Aphrodite II is a steel hulled, 2 floor fully enclosed space and is currently being used as a series of office spaces on the upper level with a fully fitted kitchen, with a lower saloon, bar storage and workshops on the lower level. There are 2 bathrooms on board which are connected to 2000 litre black water tanks. On the forward deck there is a dumb waiter that enables easy moving of goods from the top deck down into the lower forward storage compartment.
Included in the sales price is towing the barge to dry-dock in Chatham, dry-docking, blasting exterior, necessary repairs to hull if required and epoxy finish to external hull only. Internally it also includes removal of all loose furniture and fittings. Removal from dry dock and towing to new owners destination is not included within the sales price.
Additional works required by the new owner can be carried out whilst in dry dock and will be negotiated separately with the current owner.
