Eiland Marken is a beautiful original 1931 Luxe Motor built by the shipyard ‘De Hoop’ voorheen gebr. Boot in Leiden, the Netherlands. The Boot brothers were renowned for building high quality ships and are sort after in the Netherlands. She was probably built to carry Dairy or luxury products. She was later converted in the 50’s or 60’s to a water tanker to carry 40 tons of fresh water to supply larger boats.
