“Absolute Madness” is well-equipped for live aboard or cruising, and is currently on a pleasant, secure, semi-rural permanent bank side mooring in north Leeds. Subject to Marina Management approval, the mooring will be available to the new owner. Additionally, the marina usually has shipping containers, some with power and light, to rent for storage etc.
Absolute madness is an especially well insulated boat, with spray foam insulation, plus an additional 25mm of thermal insulation board to floors and bulkheads. Windows are double glazed throughout. A Webasto heater provides hot water, and heating from 5 double radiators and a towel rail.
Layout
From the cruiser stern, descend steps with inbuilt storage into the spacious galley. In addition to plenty of storage cupboards and drawers is a Belling 4 ring gas hob and full size oven/grill. Also installed is a washer/dryer, under counter fridge, under counter freezer, and a slim-line dishwasher (all 230V AC).
Forward of, and open to the galley, is a large lounge with tv and under gunwale led lighting. All fitted lighting is LED. A neat folding table and 2 chairs is included for dining, but is not fixed. A double and a single sofa bed, both purchased from Sofabed mid 2022 are as new and enable the lounge to work well as a guest bedroom. The shower room has “Jack and Jill” style access from the lounge and bedroom.
From the lounge, proceed forward through an etched glass door into a full width shower room with a large shower, centrally heated towel radiator, wash basin, integrated storage cupboards, and a Thetford cassette toilet.
Through another etched glass door heading forward leads directly into the one bedroom. This is equipped with a good quality king size Ottoman type bed purchased mid 2022, and only used for about 3 months. For storage there are 3 small double wardrobes, one chest of drawers, and 2 bedside cabinets. A large wall mounted tv is included. A pair of double glazed hardwood framed doors leads to the sunken bow deck.
